Volunteer Opportunities
Construction
Construction can be scheduled typically Tuesday-Thursday or on Saturdays. The workday starts between 8-8:15 and can last until around 2pm. No special skills are required. You can bring your own tools if you want, but we'll have plenty on-site. Lunch can usually be arranged for larger groups (12-15). Please bring your own drinks.
Deconstruction
The deconstruction business is based out of our ReStore. In deconstruction we are given a structure then we take it apart and sell the pieces in the ReStore. This project is Tuesday-Saturday from 9am-4pm.
Providing Lunch
We are always in search of lunch donors. Typically the group is no larger than about 12-15 and your efforts are GREATLY appreciated. Lunch can be anything from sandwiches to pizza to soup. This would mostly be needed on Saturdays around 11:15am.
ReStore
The Habitat for Humanity ReStore is a store that sells used and new donated home furnishings and building supplies at a discounted price. It is open to the public and is always in need of help stocking, pricing, or organizing. This is basic retail work, but it's a nice inside getaway from that hot sun outside. Their hours are Tuesday-Saturday, 9am-5pm. Your volunteer hours can be flexible to suit your busy schedule. The address is 2657 Pike Avenue in North Little Rock. The phone number is 501-771-9494.
